On 29 September the manager of Translingua, who is also a member of the board of directors of the Bulgarian Association of Professional Interpretation and Translation Agencies in Bulgaria, took part in a conference on the occasion of the International Translation Day. On 10 August a supervisory audit was conducted of the Quality Assurance System under ISO 9001:2008. Translingua achieved excellent audit results again. Our agency is further striving to maintain and improve the quality of its services.

Translingua took part in an international conference entitled „Localization World” that took place in Berlin. In the course of that event we attended workshops held by leading localisation companies and also improved our knowledge of good practices and technologies in the field of machine translation. We aim at promoting the quality of our services by looking into the latest translation models and programmes.

In its capacity as a member of ELIA /European Language Industry Association/ Translingua had the pleasure of taking part in a series of seminars held in Istanbul, Turkey. The topics of these seminars were, amongst others, innovations in the field of translation, language tools and Google applications. We would like to thank our colleagues for the excellent organisation provided and for offering us an opportunity to spend a few days together with our partners in the exotic city of Istanbul.
